We both went to Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, where we met and fell in love. We got married in July of 1991. We knew of our missions calling since the very beginning, but it took twelve years for the puzzle pieces to come together. We left NC to be teachers in Masatepe, Nicaragua in June of 2003, and moved to El Carmen, Mexico in June of 2006 after being asked to teach and train Mexicans to be missionaries and teachers.
We have three sons and one daughter-in-law, who all live in South Carolina.
Everything we do in Mexico is under the authority of our local church, Centre de Fe, Esperanza, y Amor en El Carmen, NL. We are submitted to the pastor, David Avila Benitez, and work hand in hand with him to build the church, make disciples, and reach out to the community of the Valley of Salinas.
